Global Fluoro Chemical Factory LLC R125 Expansion Project
A UAE joint-venture refrigerant plant in which Juhua Co., Ltd. holds an equity stake. Located in KEZAD (Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi) – Mussaffah ICAD-II Industrial Park, Abu Dhabi, UAE, with a newly added plot of 120,000 m². New construction includes a fluorination synthesis unit, distillation system, product tank farm, filling facilities, associated utilities and tail-gas treatment. Building on the Phase I capacity of 20 kt/a refrigerants (R32, R125, etc.), Phase II adds a new 20,000 t/a R125 unit, bringing the total capacity to 60 kt/a of refrigerants and adding four new refrigerant products, with R125 as the core product of the Phase II expansion.
