The two-week internal audit of the Zhejiang Academy of Engineering’s ISO 9000 quality management system for 2014 was completed on April 29. This audit covered all 14 departments and offices within the Academy, assessing the effectiveness of the quality management system’s operation across the organization. At the closing meeting on April 29, General Manager and top management representative Zhu Yueting urged each department to promptly address the issues identified during the audit and to draw broader lessons from them. He also outlined four key priorities for the next phase: first, each department is to organize a dedicated study session on the system documentation to strengthen employees’ understanding of and ability to implement the system; second, the 2015 internal audit team will be led by the principal heads of the specialized divisions, with members selected to ensure cross‑disciplinary expertise and mutual learning through peer review; third, all management departments are required to rigorously reinforce oversight and inspection of system implementation to ensure its effective operation; and fourth, emphasis will be placed on process‑level management of system operations, with systematic follow‑up and closure of all action items.
