Release time:
2014-05-25
In response to the design firm’s call to prioritize corporate culture and strive to build a positive organizational culture characterized by strong talent cohesion, openness, and efficient management, the company’s trade union actively assembled a team to compete in the men’s soccer event of the Adult Division at the 8th Shangcheng District Games and the 3rd Employees’ Sports Meet. Under the company’s emphasis on cultural development, the team infused its gameplay with core cultural values—collaboration, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to continuous learning—delivering both impressive results and a distinctive sporting spirit on the field.
Over the past two weeks, under the leadership of team leader Mao Youren, coach Zhao Xiaozheng, and captain Sun Lin, the team has overcome challenging weather conditions and a less-than-ideal environment, making diligent use of their limited spare time to train. They have fully demonstrated a spirited, united, and determined attitude—striving for excellence and aiming to be first. With high morale and unwavering resolve, despite an unfavorable group-stage record of one draw and one loss, they pressed on under pressure, strategizing effectively to advance through a grueling path to the quarterfinals, then the semifinals, and ultimately reach the semis. In the end, they fell short by a single goal, missing out on a place in the final and regrettably losing their chance at the championship. In the third-place playoff, the players surmounted numerous obstacles to prevail over their opponents, securing third place in this tournament and proudly lifting the trophy. Union leaders from higher authorities braved the wind and rain to attend in person, cheering the team on, while a supportive cheerleading squad composed of colleagues and family members stood firm in the elements, rallying behind the players and offering timely encouragement with loud cheers.
The intense and thrilling football match has concluded successfully. The team’s players demonstrated tenacious determination and an unwavering spirit of teamwork, earning the respect of both rival teams and the spectators. They played to their full potential, fought with all their might, and firmly established their reputation. Securing a commendable third-place finish has deepened everyone’s understanding of the power of unity—unity is the cornerstone of success, enabling us to move faster, reach higher, and go further.
