Zhejiang Academy of Engineering Hosts a Lecture on Workplace Psychological Stress and Coping Strategies

On the afternoon of September 16, the Trade Union and the Human Resources Department of Zhejiang Engineering Institute, in collaboration with the Hangzhou Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, invited Associate Professor Cao Rifang—expert at the Psychological Counseling Outpatient Department of the Seventh People’s Hospital of Hangzhou, member of the Zhejiang Provincial Association for Science and Technology’s Expert Lecturer Group, and a member of the Hangzhou Municipal Association for Science and Technology’s Science Communication Lecturer Group—to deliver a presentation to employees on workplace psychological stress and coping strategies.
Professor Cao provided an in-depth analysis of the topics of mental health, emotional regulation, and stress management, offering a systematic exposition that covered the current state of occupational mental health, the sources of stress and its impacts on individuals and organizations, stress‑coping strategies, and stress‑reduction techniques.
This training session, featuring interactive activities guided by instructors and stress‑relieving techniques, deepened employees’ understanding of mental health and stress‑management strategies, clarified the interplay among occupational stress, mental well-being, and physical health, and provided practical support for enhancing employees’ emotional regulation and stress‑coping skills in the workplace.
