On December 8, the Zhejiang Engineering Institute convened the eleventh session of its fourth-term Workers’ Congress, during which the institute’s leadership was subjected to democratic evaluation and amendments to the contracting responsibility system were announced. A total of 51 participants attended, including worker representatives, cadres at or above the deputy section level, and secretaries of Party branches.

At the meeting, seven leaders subject to evaluation presented reports on their performance and integrity, outlining their progress in fulfilling the tasks assigned for 2014, summarizing lessons learned, identifying existing problems, and proposing plans and measures for the future. They also made public statements on the implementation of the responsibility system for building a sound Party conduct and clean governance, compliance with regulations on clean government, adherence to guidelines on improving work style, and their own personal conduct and self-discipline. Attendees then conducted a democratic assessment of the seven leaders across six dimensions: moral character, competence, diligence, performance, integrity, and self‑reflection and self‑improvement.
