On the morning of January 27, the Zhejiang Engineering Institute convened the 12th session of its Fourth Workers’ Congress and the 2014 Year-End Work Conference. A total of 42 participants attended, including supervisors dispatched by the Group Company, employee representatives from the Zhejiang Engineering Institute, and cadres at or above the deputy section level.
At the meeting, General Manager Zhu Yueting delivered a report titled “Facing the New Normal, Mobilizing New Momentum, and Embarking on a New Journey,” summarizing the key achievements of 2014: first, leveraging strategy to drive transformation and achieve breakthroughs in general contracting; second, upgrading the company’s qualifications and expanding business channels; third, innovating business models to enhance profitability; and fourth, strengthening collaborative R&D to build a strong technological brand. He also outlined the 2015 work plan and measures: focusing on implementing strategic initiatives to bolster team cohesion; reinforcing core competencies to improve competitiveness; elevating general contracting management to lead the company’s transformation; and strengthening internal systems to elevate overall management.
To address the challenges posed by the overall market downturn in 2015, the General Manager outlined three key priorities for all employees: first, to fully understand the company’s strategic transformation plan; second, to uphold our corporate mission; and third, to remain composed and resilient in the face of various difficulties. We are confident that, under the wise leadership of the Board of Directors and the Group’s senior management, with the steadfast support of all shareholders, and through the concerted efforts of every employee, we will achieve breakthroughs in technological innovation and operational excellence in 2015, ensure the successful implementation of our strategy and the smooth progress of our transformation and upgrading, and embark on a new chapter of the company’s fourth entrepreneurial journey.
