On the afternoon of July 28, 2015, the Zhejiang Academy of Engineering held its third shareholders’ meeting and the seventh session of the seventh board of directors for 2015 at the Juhua Hotel in Hangzhou. The meeting was chaired by Chairman Tang Yueming, with members of the supervisory board attending as observers.

The meeting reviewed and approved the work summary for the first half of 2015 and the work plan for the second half, as well as the financial report for the first half of 2015 and matters related to the 2014 dividend distribution.

The meeting concluded that, in the first half of 2015, amid a sluggish macroeconomic environment and challenging industry conditions, the company’s leadership team, guided by the objectives set by the Board of Directors at the beginning of the year, united and rallied all employees to press forward despite formidable challenges. The company successfully withstood severe tests and achieved notable results in both its day-to-day operations and its transformation‑driven development. The meeting fully commended the company’s accomplishments during the first half of the year.

The meeting noted that the second half of 2015 will bring even more daunting difficulties and challenges. The company must remain resolute, rise to the occasion, steadfastly pursue transformation and upgrading, advance reforms and innovations in its internal control system, comprehensively enhance its core competencies, and effectively strengthen its risk‑management capabilities. In addition, priority should be given to rigorously conducting performance evaluations for the Pingmei Shenma general contracting projects, thereby ensuring the achievement of the annual budgetary targets.
