　　Recently, the 9th Zhejiang Provincial College Students’ Chemical Engineering Design Competition, sponsored by the Zhejiang Academy of Engineering and branded as the “ZEDC” Cup, concluded successfully at Taizhou University. The “Happy as Always” team from Zhejiang University, known for its bold innovation and unwavering determination in the face of formidable competitors, emerged victorious after two rounds of intense on-site competition and three specialized expert reviews, securing the Grand Prize (Gold Award) with an outstanding performance among the 36 teams that advanced to the finals.

　　To foster university students’ innovative thinking and engineering skills, cultivate a spirit of teamwork, and enhance their capabilities in engineering design and practical application, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education, the Zhejiang Chemical Society, and the Zhejiang Provincial Teaching Steering Committee for Chemistry and Chemical Engineering have organized the “ZEDC” Cup Undergraduate Chemical Engineering Design Competition, under the title sponsorship of the Zhejiang Academy of Engineering. A total of 134 teams from 28 universities across 11 regions throughout the province participated in the preliminary rounds.
