Recently, the Zhejiang Engineering Institute convened the 12th session of its Fourth Workers’ Congress. Attending were employee representatives, Party branch secretaries, and personnel at the junior management level and above. Huang Wenhua, a supervisor of the Group Company, attended the meeting in an observer capacity.

At the meeting, General Manager Zhu Yueting delivered a work report titled “Adhering to Strategy in Response to the New Normal and Strengthening Internal Capabilities to Inject New Momentum,” summarizing six key highlights of the company’s performance in the first half of 2015 and outlining plans for the second half. He called on all employees to remain confident, rise to challenges, persist in transformation and upgrading, advance reforms and innovations in the internal control system, comprehensively enhance the company’s core competencies, and effectively strengthen risk management and prevention. He also emphasized the importance of rigorously conducting performance assessments for the Pingmei Shenma general contracting projects to ensure the achievement of the annual budgetary targets.

Chairman Tang Yueming, drawing on the Group Party Committee’s theoretical study group theme of “Open Development,” emphasized that, in the context of the new normal in the economy, all cadres and employees should cultivate a sense of crisis; within the framework of the Group’s open‑development strategy, they should accelerate cooperation with leading domestic and international enterprises; with regard to general contracting in the engineering design sector, they must expedite the development of core technologies; and in response to the transformation and adjustment of business models, they should further enhance internal management, improve managerial efficiency, and mitigate operational risks. Moreover, by leveraging external resources to expand into new markets, they should seize development opportunities, consolidate traditional business lines, and explore new sectors and customer segments.
