Zhejiang Engineering Institute convened its second shareholders’ meeting of 2016 and the tenth session of the third board of directors.

On the afternoon of August 10, 2016, the Zhejiang Academy of Engineering held its second shareholders’ meeting of 2016 and the tenth session of the third board of directors at the Juhua Hotel in Hangzhou. The meeting was chaired by Chairman Tang Yueming, with members of the company’s supervisory board attending as observers.
The meeting reviewed and approved the Company’s 2016 first-half operating report and second-half work plan, the 2016 first-half financial analysis report, and the 2015 profit distribution and capitalization of reserves plan.
Chairman Tang Yueming first commended the company’s achievements during the sluggish market conditions of the first half of 2016, expressed gratitude to the board members and supervisors for their valuable insights and recommendations on the company’s operations and development, and urged the Supervisory Board to further strengthen its role as a bridge and link between the company and the Group. He then outlined the following key requirements for the company’s next phase of business development: First, continue to refine the corporate governance framework, enhance management of external investments, strategic partnerships, and subsidiary branches, and address longstanding issues through reform and restructuring; second, improve internal policies and ensure rigorous compliance to mitigate operational risks and foster the company’s healthy, orderly growth; third, steadfastly pursue the transformation‑and‑development strategy, leveraging engineering general contracting to drive sustainable enterprise growth; and fourth, accelerate the cultivation of proprietary technologies and strengthen talent development, laying a solid foundation for future applications to become a high‑tech enterprise.
