Recently, the Party Committee of the Engineering Design Company conveyed General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on July 1, studied Chairman Hu Zhongming’s address, and communicated the spirit of the Juhua Theoretical Study Group meeting.
During this inspection of the Zhoushan project, we gained an understanding of the current layout and future prospects of the petrochemical sector within the province. We also visited Zhejiang Longsheng Group and Xinhuacheng Co., Ltd., learning about the institutional frameworks and operational models of leading enterprises. These visits underscored that, to earn recognition and demonstrate their capabilities, companies must operate in accordance with market principles and, like private firms, navigate the challenges and opportunities of a dynamic marketplace. In response to profound changes in both the domestic and international business environment, the engineering design firm will focus on the following key priorities in the second half of the year: First, leveraging the support of Juhua Group and aligning with the provincial “Zhejiang Grand Petrochemical” integration initiative, we will make every effort to secure the Zhejiang Petrochemical refining and chemical project. Second, we must explore ways to reduce capital investment while ensuring project viability—design and commercial teams should prioritize user needs, devise strategies to contain costs, and simultaneously meet technical specifications. Third, we will pursue collaborative partnerships with industry leaders, using joint ventures in new materials and cutting-edge technologies to gradually modernize our portfolio and build self-sustaining capabilities. Fourth, we will actively cultivate internal markets while aggressively expanding into external markets, delivering high‑quality engineering services for Juhua’s major projects and establishing benchmark works. Finally, we will vigorously implement our “going global” strategy, winning contracts through superior service and uncompromising quality.
