Recently, the Zhejiang Academy of Engineering was awarded the A‑level “Contract‑Abiding and Credit‑Respecting” enterprise designation by Zhejiang Province, with a two-year public notice period.
In 2016, the Zhejiang Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce reformed the existing system for recognizing “Contract‑Abiding and Credit‑worthy” enterprises, replacing the former lifetime designation with a dynamic, publicly disclosed regulatory approach. Enterprises that meet the criteria are required to have their contract‑related credit information made public to the general public; such public disclosure is conducted annually and remains in effect for two years, thereby encouraging businesses to operate with integrity and in compliance with the law and advancing the province’s social credit system. The Zhejiang Academy of Engineering participated in this public assessment for the first time.
