On the morning of August 8, a delegation of five—including the vice chairman of the Shangcheng District Federation of Trade Unions and the chairman and vice chairmen of Ziyang Subdistrict—brought boxes of refreshing beverages to the Zhejiang Academy of Engineering to extend their condolences to the company’s employees.
General Manager Zhu Yueting of the Zhejiang Engineering Institute extended a warm welcome and engaged in an enthusiastic exchange with Chairman Li and his delegation from the Trade Union. He commended the street office for its support and affirmed that the Zhejiang Engineering Institute will, as always, collaborate closely with Shangcheng District to advance all aspects of its work. In light of Shangcheng District’s recent efforts to redevelop Wangjiang New City, the institute expressed its readiness to leverage its expertise in the district’s development, working hand in hand with the Shangcheng District government to contribute to the district’s continued progress and prosperity.
The vice chairman of the Shangcheng District Federation of Trade Unions conducted an in-depth on-site assessment of the company’s employees’ working conditions. Upon learning that some designers frequently travel to job sites to conduct field inspections and that others often work overtime to meet project deadlines, he expressed sincere concern, urging everyone to take precautions against the summer heat, balance work with rest during overtime, and perform their duties diligently, thereby contributing to urban development.
