On the afternoon of August 10, 2017, the Zhejiang Academy of Engineering held its second shareholders’ meeting and the twelfth session of the third board of directors at the Yuhuang Mountain Villa in Hangzhou. The meeting reviewed the work summary for the first half of 2017 and the work plan for the second half, as well as matters related to the company’s financial report for the first half of 2017.
At the meeting, Chairman Tang Yueming fully commended the company’s achievements in operations and management during the first half of the year: despite a sluggish market environment, the company delivered solid results across key performance indicators; on the management front, progress was steady in obtaining QHSE certification, further standardizing and elevating operational practices; and the application process for high‑tech enterprise status is advancing smoothly. At the same time, he urged the company to strengthen risk management in the next phase, tightening oversight of its subsidiaries, branch offices, and external investments, while reinforcing controls over contracts, finances, and operational processes to ensure “settling all existing liabilities without incurring new ones.” He also emphasized the importance of proactively engaging with relevant departments within the group to conduct thorough research on corporate asset securitization. Furthermore, he called for intensified efforts to cultivate talent and develop proprietary intellectual property and specialized technologies, thereby bolstering the company’s core competitiveness.
The meeting was chaired by Chairman Tang Yueming, with members of the Supervisory Board in attendance.
