Zhejiang Academy of Engineering has been awarded the Hangzhou City May Day Labor Award.

On the afternoon of April 26, 2018, Hangzhou held a ceremony at the Provincial People’s Hall to celebrate International Labor Day and honor recipients of the city’s May Day Labor Awards. Fifty organizations were awarded the title of “May Day Labor Award” of Hangzhou, and one hundred individuals were presented with the “May Day Labor Medal” of Hangzhou; ZEDC was among those recognized.

The Hangzhou May Day Labor Award is a highly prestigious honor in Hangzhou, widely recognized by both the public and the community. This award not only acknowledges and commends the contributions of workers and exemplary collectives to Hangzhou’s reform, development, and social stability, but also serves as a vivid embodiment of the “Chinese Dream—Beauty Through Labor” in the city. The company’s receipt of this distinguished honor reflects the government’s and society’s recognition of ZEDC’s achievements, is the fruit of the positive atmosphere we have fostered to promote the spirit of model workers, and would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of every employee.
