　　To support Zhejiang University in cultivating undergraduates’ practical skills in chemical engineering design, on May 18, 2008, Zhejiang University established the “Zhejiang University Undergraduate Chemical Engineering Design Practice and Internship Base” at Zhejiang Engineering Design Co., Ltd. The initiative aims to leverage the company’s engineering‑practice resources to create an innovative, hands‑on teaching platform for students, providing support for both their chemical engineering design coursework and extracurricular scientific‑technological activities. At the same time, through undergraduate SRTP (Student Research Training Program) projects, it seeks to undertake exploratory efforts to foster design innovation at Zhejiang Engineering Design Co., Ltd.
