On May 26, 2018, the Party Committee of Zhejiang Engineering Institute organized a集中 training session on the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Renowned experts Sheng Shihao and Jin Yanfeng were invited to provide in-depth interpretations of the Party’s history, the spirit of the 19th National Congress, the Red Boat Spirit, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. The aim was to educate and guide Party members and cadres to gain a comprehensive understanding and accurately grasp the spirit of the 19th National Congress, to deeply study and thoroughly comprehend Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and to vigorously promote the effective implementation and fruitful outcomes of the Congress’s guiding principles within the institute. A total of 107 participants, including mid-level and senior management personnel as well as all Party members, attended the training, which was officially opened with an address by Zhu Yueting, Secretary of the Institute’s Party Committee.
Secretary Zhu emphasized that conducting centralized training on the spirit of the 19th National Congress is of paramount importance for further aligning our thinking and actions with the Congress’s guiding principles, consolidating our wisdom and strength around the tasks set forth at the 19th National Congress, and more firmly upholding General Secretary Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole, as well as the authority and centralized, unified leadership of the CPC Central Committee. He expressed the hope that all participants would cherish this rare opportunity to learn, and under the guidance of the expert lecturers, deeply study and grasp the rich connotations, essential spirit, and core tenets of the 19th National Congress and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Participants should integrate learning with reflection, apply what they have learned in practice, and derive tangible benefits from their studies, striving to achieve genuine understanding, thorough comprehension, and effective implementation—taking concrete actions, leading the way, and pioneering new frontiers. At the same time, through this training, they should further leverage the exemplary and driving role of the “key few,” promote a sound academic ethos, refine their study methods, closely link theory with practice, strictly observe discipline, and translate the outcomes of the training into conscious, proactive steps that guide and advance their work, thereby making new and greater contributions to the company’s transformation and development.
