Sprint milestone achieved!
Civil construction handover for Main Units 1 and 12 in the Gansu Juhua Section

As of now, good news has emerged from Sections 1 and 12 of the high-performance silicon‑fluorine new materials integrated project undertaken by Gansu Juhua New Materials Co., Ltd.: thanks to the concerted efforts of the general contractor, Zhejiang Engineering Design Co., Ltd., the main units in these sections—including methane chlorination, TFE cracking, and distillation—have fully achieved the “complete civil‑engineering handover for safety” milestone, effectively accelerating the subsequent equipment installation and the project’s commissioning.
Since the launch of the sprint phase, all participating units in Section 1 and Section 12 have been closely aligned with the construction schedule, operating under a visual management system. In Section 1, within the methane chlorination unit area, the project team has efficiently completed equipment foundation work and the main structural construction of the monochloromethane compressor; meanwhile, the refrigeration station has reached its structural topping-out and is now advancing masonry operations. In Section 12, the TFE cracking and distillation units have been fully handed over for safety, removing key obstacles to the subsequent installation of core process equipment. Meanwhile, construction on other critical units is simultaneously accelerating, with rigorous control over process accuracy to ensure that the structural integrity meets the operational requirements of the equipment.
Since the project’s commencement, Zhejiang Engineering Design Co., Ltd. has remained committed to delivering high‑quality projects, meticulously planning and continuously refining its construction strategies. By efficiently coordinating operations and rationally sequencing work processes, the company has pressed ahead with the project schedule while ensuring safety and maintaining rigorous quality control.
The achievement of these interim results is a vivid demonstration of how Section 1 and Section 12 have put into practice the guiding principle of “carrying forward the red spirit and driving project construction forward.” Moving forward, the engineering design firm and other participating teams will continue to rigorously control construction quality, accelerate the implementation of subsequent phases, and make every effort to ensure the overall progress of the project.
