On December 31, 2013, the winter sun shone brightly, its golden rays welcoming the approaching year 2014. At three in the afternoon, all employees gathered punctually at the company entrance and set off on foot toward Wushan Daguan. Along the way, they chatted and laughed, shared their thoughts, and helped one another. Basking in the warm winter sunshine, they climbed to a lofty vantage point, leaving behind the disappointments of the past year. As they enjoyed the pleasure of hiking and marveled at nature’s wondrous beauty, they also offered prayers for the New Year, seeking good fortune and a promising start to the year ahead.
The New Year’s Mountain Climb is a signature company event designed to enrich employees’ lives and strengthen our corporate culture. By organizing this outdoor activity, we not only help staff stay fit and enjoy the rewarding experience of reaching new heights, but also create a platform for open communication and collaboration, fostering unity and boosting team cohesion. At the same time, as we bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new, the company extends its heartfelt New Year wishes to all employees, hoping that in the year ahead, everyone will continue to thrive and see success in every endeavor.
After several hours of hiking, the outing came to a close amid laughter and cheerful chatter. Employees widely agreed that the climb offered a welcome respite from their busy work schedules, providing a fitting way to bid farewell to 2013 and welcome 2014—testing their physical endurance while strengthening their resolve. Most importantly, it deepened the bonds among colleagues. As the new year dawns, all staff at the Zhejiang Institute of Engineering will press forward with renewed enthusiasm and determination, finding meaning in their efforts and creating value through hard work.
